The best Sushi restaurant in Finchley by far! Got introduced by a family member and me and my girlfriend can't stop going back! The people who work there are awesome and very friendly and welcoming. They also have a grill menu - The onions and garlic are AMAZING! The fish is so fresh and lovely. I would recommend this restaurant to all Sushi lovers who enjoy quality over quantity! 🍣 🍣 🍣
great food and great service. The skewers and ramen are absolutely delicious and the lady is always really nice. I have been eating here for three years, was never disappointed. The lunch promotion is really worth getting cause the salad is amazing. Can be a bit busy during weekend so might need to book a table in advance. Overall my favourite Japanese restaurant in all of London.
My first visit to Yama Yama following a friend's recommendation - I was not disappointed. The food was of very high quality, good value for money and the choice of dishes was extensive. The service was also excellent and I sensed a genuine passion for what the waitress was offering with an ability to advise and recommend on appropriate dishes, and the suitability of certain combinations. A thoroughly enjoyable Sunday evening in a very relaxed atmosphere. Would not hesitate to recommend to others
Reasonable quality Japanese food in this part of town. The dishes are not posh, but they have a very strong homely feel. The best part is that they have a real charcoal grill, so make sure you order any grilled dishes and you won't be disappointed. It is not particularly cheap but with their lunch deal, any main dish will come with rice, salad and miso soup, without paying extra. Hence, my 4 stars rating.
Easy to find just a short (7min) walk up the high St from East Finchley tube station. Was really wanting this place to be great but was a little disappointed. It wasn't expensive but the food was not great. It wasn't terrible but I was hoping it would be good. Tried both grilled meat and raw fish. Neither struck me as having fresh ingredients. Having been a regular visitor to Japan my expectations may be to high. Why is the Japanese food in London so poor?
