An independent Vietnamese restaurant with some yummy authentic dishes. Food is good with plenty of options and sufficient portion sizes. The staff were helpful and friendly. My only pointer would be that we felt a little cold whilst seated.
Came for lunch with my sister and thoroughly enjoyed myself. We ordered a few dishes to share between us and they were all great! Staff were friendly and attentive, and the meal wasn't too expensive for how much we ordered.
Around 7 years ago, I used to come here at least once a month and it was my favourite Vietnamese restaurant. The food was great and the restaurant was full on most days. I remember always needing to reserve a table to avoid disappointment. Unfortunately, I visited this restaurant again last week and I'm saddened to say that I will not be coming back. The place has clearly had a change of management since I last visited. The food tasted bland and not authentic, and their portions are a lot smaller than they used to be. I ordered a selection of my favourite Vietnamese dishes but was very disappointed. The dishes didn't even have the usual herbs and cucumber which I would expect and the spring rolls were almost empty inside. The only herb used was mint, not even any coriander, and the nuoc cham tasted weak and watered down. The vermicelli noodles in my bun cha gio dish were overcooked and hadn't been properly drained so they just tasted mushy and watery. The food was not inedible and I didn't get sick from eating here but I wouldn't recommend coming here if you want to experience authentic Vietnamese food.
Been there multiple times, absolutely amazing, extremely kind staff. The food is great, the ratio between the price and the the portion size is great. The taste of the food is wonderful and is made with high mastery. No doubt the best in the area
VyNam does try to keep up and continue with the already existing great menu from previous years (owners) and to keep tlo the high standards of food I was used to.. I remember the Pho’s, Pancakes and hot pots all very classic and exceptionally tasty well prepared dishes. The salads were always a winner too and plentiful. So fast forwarding let’s say 5 years on and I’m soo sorry to say, the food is not nearly as good quality. The Pho meat and seafood is not good at all. The Pho is watery, bland and somewhat scarce as example the Brisket beef I had to really dig through the dense amount of flat rice noodles to fish out the bits of brisket but all I found was the rind and the fat of the beef. They didn’t add any beef this time and it made it inedible and unpleasant. I have to say it’s not the cheapest food and paying £13 X 2 for our recent delivery was a huge disappointment and it’s put us off. So we won’t be returning now
