Could not even eat the food purchased. Rice tasted like stale cheese 🤢 and the meat was hard/dry/smelly as if it had been there all day. Appalling food. I hope the food standards agency sees this and catches this restaurant!! This could have made my partner sickly for 2 days like previous places that say they are hygienic and cook fresh food but don't. Just look at the grease at the bottom of that rice and how old I wouldn't know. Due to wasting our money, had to leave this review and add pictures for other people to beware. Hygiene rating 1 for sure and nothing is fresh in those photos, not even 30 minutes after purchase 🤮. I saw other comments for poor customer service and the response was due to lack of staff. Lies, lack of manners more like, I definitely will not be back to eat at this disaster of a restaurant, charging £6.50 for a large kebab that looked like a medium portion. Honestly had to throw it all in the bin!
I came for a takeaway and then felt the urge to eat in. Not only is it the same price as taking out, but the very friendly Turkish staff also serve you a nice large portion of gratis humous and salad with pitta bread beforehand. They dutifully watch you eat your starter before serving you with your main course. This all great, of course, but.... the meat used for the donner kebab meat was disgusting coupled with the rice being greasy. The large donner was £9.95. Overview: Although staff cannot be faulted on friendliness and serving a decent salad the meat was revolting. And since the meat makes the substantial part of the meal, I simply cannot award the restaurant more than two stars (one for friendliness and another for the starter.) Improvement is urgently needed. One final bit of info: their toilets are exceptionally clean.
The best kebab in the area. Service can be a little slow but it is worth the wait. I love the rice. I could eat a plate of that on its own.
We accidentally found this restaurant when going to the cinema this evening. The waiter and waitress were very polite and explained the menu could be adapted for our children. The food was excellent, the children loved the chicken shish with the yogurt mint sauce. All wrapped up with a reasonable bill for the quality of food and service with some complimentary Turkish delight.
The worst of the worst. I have been a regular customer few years back but they turned out to be worse and worse. The last 1 years they haven’t even accepted card payments which is ridiculous. Probably trying to hide their profit, I don’t know. Today I was walking there and I thought let’s give a chance. I ordered a small lamb sish and instead of the bread and rice I requested more salad. The guy was so rude and said it’s an extra. I am eating out in finchley and hendon at several restaurants and NEVER EVER had a problem like this. Instead of the rice and bread every restaurant happy to give you some extra lettuce. Which cost less than rice and bread anyway. Very disappointing and rude people. Avoid them at any cost!
