A Must-Try Persian Restaurant in London! Today was my second visit to Senator Restaurant. The first time, we went for breakfast and had kaleh pacheh, and without exaggeration, it was one of the best I’ve ever had—even compared to what I’ve tried in Iran! Today, we ordered a four-person mixed kebab platter, and every single kebab was absolutely perfect—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The staff were incredibly polite, and the service was excellent. However, on my way back, I realized that the restaurant doesn’t charge a service fee, and I felt bad for not leaving a tip. As someone who has tried almost every Persian restaurant across London, I highly recommend this place. You won’t regret it!
One of the best Kale Paches I’ve ever had! No kidding, I’ve tried many places, in Iran, Turkey and UK, this one was simply amazing! You must try it. We also had Ash Reshteh which was amazing as well. Loved this place and for sure will be my favorite one whenever I visit London.
I had the most incredible lunch experience at Senator ! The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. My favorite was the kabab momtaz which was a symphony of flavors with each component perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was also outstanding; our server was attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a truly memorable day. I highly recommend this restaurant!"
I’ve been to Senator Lounge in London and honestly, it was a huge disappointment. We were there enjoying shisha.The place closes at 11:30, but at 11:20 the staff came over and literally took our shishas away while we were still using them — no warning, no respect, just snatched them in front of us like we didn’t matter. The staff’s attitude was absolutely unacceptable. No customer service, no courtesy. It felt like they just wanted us out, even though we were still within the open hours . We weren’t causing any trouble — just relaxing, and they completely ruined the experience. Any time we go there we spend more than £200 but they treated us like we go there for free. I will never come back and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking to actually enjoy their evening without being treated poorly. Senator Lounge needs to seriously train their staff on basic manners and how to respect paying customers.
I ordered food for delivery. Food was not good at all, in particular chicken was not good at all . Next time when I called restaurant to place an order, I informed the guy who was taking my order that the food was not good at all. He didn’t accept the food’s quality was not good , instead he said that “ our food is prepared and served daily and can’t be smelly or uncooked “. He did not apologise for the poor quality food, also not polite.
