This restaurant serves very delicious and authentic food at a very reasonable price. The menu has a lot of dishes and is a bit hard to understand. The service was quite fast, but our waiter wasn’t Japanese, so he didn’t really know the dishes and couldn’t explain when we asked questions. Because of that, we had some trouble ordering. However, you can place your order using an iPad or ask a staff member, and the menu is available in both paper and digital formats. The restaurant’s space is quite simple, like a cafeteria, but the tasty food and cheap prices make up for everything. There were four of us, we had plenty of food and some alcoholic drinks, and the total was about £260 – very cheap for the quality and amount of food.

A very busy Japanese restaurant with different types of dishes. We visited during dinner time and we had to wait for half hour. The sushi set is good and affordable.

Eat Tokyo is probably one of London's best kept secrets. My family and I have been going to Eat Tokyo in Golders Green for as long as I remember. The menu is huge so you've got a such a large variety of things to try. Literally anything you can think of and it will probably be on the menu. Particular favourites of mine are the torikara (fried chicken), Alaskan roll (salmon, prawn & mayo inside out roll), and bento 1ban (salmon teriyaki, sashimi & tempura). There are so many bento boxes to choose from, but also rice bowls (inc curry), noodles (udon, soba, ramen & fried), and a la carte items. You won't go hungry at Eat Tokyo. Eat Tokyo also has branches elsewhere in London but I find that the one in Golders Green has the largest menu and is also slightly cheaper. The quality is also always very high, I've never had a bad experience here, and I've visited many times. It can get very busy especially at peak times because it's not very big inside, so I'd recommend booking a table or if walking in then coming when they just open. Or visiting their sister restaurant around the corner, G2 Shabu Shabu which offers a slightly limited a la carte menu + hot pot. I don't think I'll ever not come to Eat Tokyo, it's a firm favourite of mine and my family's.

Great Japanese food, simply presented and great prices. Terrible & annoying ordering process.

Our first time trying shabu shabu and we loved it. We were absolutely stuffed at the end of the all you can eat. staff were attentive, Asahi pints were reasonably priced. I’d also like to note that this isn’t America and it shouldn’t be a shock if you don’t want to pay 15 quid service charge. The customer should decide the tip. Other than that good experience 😀
