I often passed by this restaurant and couldn’t help but notice the enticing barbecue aroma wafting from it. That inviting scent finally convinced me to step in and order a lamb shish to-go. I was positively surprised by the impressive display of fresh meat and chicken. Everything looked so perfectly prepared and appealing that I wanted to try it all! Once back home, I was delighted by the generous portion size, especially for such a reasonable price. The lamb shish was absolutely delicious—tender, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. For dessert, I had a piece of baklava, which was rich, sweet, and the perfect end to the meal. I’ll definitely be reordering from here, and I’m looking forward to trying more of their offerings. With food this fresh and appealing, it’s hard to resist!
I ordered takeaway from Divan Turkish cuisine and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. I ordered mixed Donner and mix wrap. The food lacked any real flavor. He said you have to pay separate for salad which is completely different with other Turkish restaurants 😏It was clear that freshness wasn’t a priority, as the meal had an off-putting smell that suggested it wasn’t prepared with the best ingredients. The quality of the food fell short of expectations, with none of the vibrant, rich flavors you’d typically expect from Turkish cuisine. Overall, it was a disappointing visit, and I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone looking for an enjoyable meal.
Nice place Food ok Notice on the menu vegetarian on mains Big portions of meat Thank you
Ordered a stuffed aubergine, soup and lamb donner. Lamb was tender and flavourful, everything else was mediocre. The waitress was very disinterested in serving us.
Lovely attentive service by young lad. Clean and calm atmosphere with Turkish music playing in the background bringing authentic feel. Accessible by wheelchairs. Toilets Food; Lentil soup, overly salty, something was very off with it. Left it and thought to give a go to main. Ordered Sarma beyti with lamb, as soon as the plate was arriving I just picked a weird smell, didn’t want to believe my senses and I tucked in but was very disappointed, red souse was orange, overloaded with yogurt that seemed to be out of date and meat was just lacking any Turkish seasoning, overly chewy… I was disappointed and nothing prepared me for the next thing when my friend scooped out long hair from cacik… Waiter kindly offered to exchanged cacik, I’ve immediately asked for the bill, he saw we haven’t eaten our meals, we’ve paid and left. Note: no salad (price paid separately) and only one pitta bread given to be shared between two people. Soup: no olives, no turp, no sumak seasoning available… I was expecting 4.7 rating as per Google reviews. I would like to offer my services to this place and let’s do revamp!
