As a vegetarian, you know you're not going to have the best experience when you go into a fish restaurant, but when the basics like chips are bad, then you know it's disappointing. The decor is very gaudy. The vegan burger was a dry quorn 'chicken' fillet which had mayo in it... (see pic) I don't think they know mayo has egg in it. They said the tartar sauce on the side (that has mayo) doesn't have egg or diary in it. The waitress was very lovely and couldn't fault her. I think the whole place needs a fresh menu, new management, decor and atmosphere. Get rid of the YouTube playlist on the TV with ads...
very lovely staff, but the food 😍 I've had fish & chips and i have never had a nicer fish ever! it was melting in my mouth ❤️ for the price, well its average for london to be honest.
Exceptionally clean restaurant throughout! 👏 I must say, and this is rare to hear from me - almost everything was just perfect👌. All we ate was amazing except for the chips with parmesan. £5 for it was way too much, and I would not recommend this side. Dry parmesan on top of very dry chips. This must improve. The hygiene in the restaurant is top level.☝️ The floor is clean and mopped properly. No sticky chairs or tables! I like that a lot! There is no clutter of the cutlery. Service was great, too! Air-conditioning on just the right level, some places you may freeze to death. Overall, I would highly recommend this place, mainly for the quality and great taste of the food. Thank you! 😀
RACIST WAITRESS Had a meal with my wife and daughter and the waitress noticed the tattoos on my arm and said its very fashionable, nothing wrong with that. I asked for the bill (£57.60) after eating and the waitress came with the card machine and said, i think we should use the pin and proceeded to insert my card not allowing me to tap it to pay. I noticed they added the service charge by writing it on the receipt instead of actually putting in their POS system. Maybe something for the tax man to investigate further.
Stopped for portion of chips had a long wait to be served these dry crispy liked they had been cooked a few too many times
